I was first here in December 2010, when I was resort hopping, and just came here to take a look at the place in its Christmas duds. It was cold, raining and miserable. I said in that trip report, that I would stay here one day.

Fast forward to May 2011, when I was here for Destination D: Walt Disney World 40th, and I was booked into the Contemporary, since that was where the convention would be. But the days prior during my vacation were still open, and lo and behold, all four days were available at Wilderness Lodge!

So in the 5 months that separated the trips, it went from cold and rainy and miserable, to hot (90+ every day) and sunny (UV Index 10+: Extreme) and gorgeous every day. Oh, it did rain on me for about 15 minutes, but it was in pretty intense sun, so maybe it doesn't count...
