There is a city named "Wisconin Dells", but the city is named after the rock formations the Wisconsin River carved out of the sandstone. This page isn't about the city. That's why it's filed under "Miscellaneous"...

I've been to Wisconsin Dells a number of times, mostly when I was in my late teens/early 20's, mostly camping on a budget. I don't do that anymore.

I wouldn't say I dislike the Dells, but I put the place in the same category as Branson and Gatlinburg. Their main function is tourism. Some people love the place. I can take it for a day or two.
